On the last day of our stay in California we visited the J Paul Getty Museum in LA and what a treat it was. Fantastic modern architecture housing thousands of works of art, free to the public and all you have to do is pay for parking.

Frank’s House
The Disney Concert Hall in LA (Designed by architect Frank Gehry) is one magnificent building and at dawn it’s an incredible experience. Marcia and I drove into town early Sunday morning, found it with no problems, and were able to park right along the street beside the building. Dark when we arrived, the skies were clear and the morning glow soon began. Except for a city bus every 5 minutes (and later a few other photographers), the place was deserted. A photographer can’t ask for more than this! To my LA photog friend Bettina … sorry we couldn’t connect. Next time for sure.
